Amazing coaching. Team atmosphere. The best part is that all levels of experience are welcomed. There is some lifting equipment, and treadmills which are accessible with no extra charge!

A great gym geared towards all levels of individual interested in learning Muay Thai or sharpening their striking skills. Ryan and Kaitlin are professional and run an open and inviting gym. You can't go wrong learning from these two.

Technical, Combat Tested Martial Arts (Gym reconfigured to meet social distancing guidelines) Owned by a current and former professional fighters with decades of fighting and coaching experience . There are a wide array of students, ranging from competitive athletes, hobbyists, fitness focused to self defense. Ample free parking, changing rooms and rest rooms. The equipment and classes have been configured to adhere to the new social distancing guidelines.

Love this place!! The best coaches in the Midwest and solid teammates. The equipment is top of the line, but more importantly you’ll find the encouragement, expertise, and uplifting environment you need to grow, develop, and thrive in Muay Thai, boxing, kickboxing etc. The best striking gym in Minnesota by far!

Friendly, relaxed environment for people of different walks. Members are welcoming and classes are catered to all levels. Each coach has their own extensive experiences in combat sports. They have thoughtful approaches to helping members develop their skills and personal style. Home to many high level kickboxing/Muay Thai/MMA athletes.

The Striking Institute is a great school to train Muay Thai and Kickboxing and the name says it all. Kaitlyn and Ryan are both champion fighters, and they’ve been coaching martial arts professionally for decades now. They’re also very professional, knowledgeable, and just all around good people, and I have nothing but great things to say about this place, all the coaches, and the students who train here. If you’re looking to learn striking on any level, and you’re on the fence about what martial arts school to join, this is the place!

The Striking institute has very knowledgeable and experienced fight trainers. Ryan is an encyclopedia of cool techniques to use against your opponent. We get both the physical and mental strategies of fighting. The schedule offers a wide mix of class times, both day and evening. And weekends are offered as well. This is a fun and friendly atmosphere. The pricing for this level of coaching is excellent!!

Great people and instruction at Striking Institute. It is the perfect gym for anyone looking to get in shape or try something new with experienced coaches. Striking institute has already built multiple fighters from the ground up. If you are interested in competing (there is no pressure or expectation to), the gym is well versed in everything competition entails. I highly recommend Striking Institute!

Absolutely love this gym. As a beginner I was so worried about joining a new gym. It has been the best experience, everyone is so helpful and patient. The classes are well structured and fun, with lots of variety and a robust schedule. The coaches are amazing and the facility is top tier. If you’re a beginner and worried about starting something new - just take the plunge! You won’t regret it.

The best gym I've ever been to! Not only are Ryan and Kaitlin well known and respected in the MN Fight Community, they run an excellent ship! Every time I go there, I feel very welcome, expertly taught, and cared for. I signed up instantly after my first class. I recently had to put my account on hold for knee surgery, and both Ryan AND Kaitlyn have reached out to me with well wishes numerous times -- wow! I can't express my gratitude for them keeping me in their thoughts like that, it's awesome to feel like I'm part of the community. I would highly recommend Striking Institute to anyone who wants a fun environment to train in, beginners who want to start off, or veteran trainers looking for a new home. The training you'll receive here will be incredible, I promise, just go check out a free introductory class!
